First off we wish you all a blessed and happy 2018! We are just a few weeks away from Day +100 which is wonderful news! This coming Tuesday Mike will have a bone marrow biopsy done which will give us news of how his marrow is doing and they will also check to be sure there are no signs of leukemia as well. The results will take about a week and I promise to update as soon as we know everything!
The holiday was a quiet one fo us this year but still full of family and most importantly, plenty of quality time with each other. Our 2 boys Reece and Ryker made it entertaining and fun.
Mike’s overall health has been pretty good, his only complaint is getting his energy back as well as trying to get a full night of sleep. His counts are recovering since he was on an IV antiviral which took his numbers down quite a bit. Otherwise the Drs joke and tell us Mike is boring when we go for check ups, which we will happily take! All joking aside, they are pleased with his recovery and the success of his transplant this far!
