Hello!
Yes I am behind on journal entries again….so sorry!! But I do have great news for everyone! After a few very rough days Mike’s counts began jumping up! This is amazing news and what’s even more amazing is he is almost ready to break out of this hospital!
He had his last round of Methatrexate yesterday and the Dr’s will now begin to switch everything over from IV to pill form. Once he is able to take the medications by mouth and keep them down along with fluids, he is free to go home!
His neutrophils count is actually at 1.31 today! Normal range for neutrophils is 1.4-6.6 so that’s wonderful news!
I will keep you updated on his counts tomorrow, otherwise that’s all the news we have for today.
